Ubisoft’s popular title Watch Dogs has seen delays like no other, but fret not if you’re waiting for the game to hit retail. Ubisoft has announced that Watch Dogs will release on May 27th on Xbox One, Xbox 360, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 3, and Windows. The game is also expected to launch on the Wii U, but the launch for the console has been delayed, and there’s no definite launch date available for it. The most surprising part is that the game is launching on the PC at the same time as the consoles.
The game is based on a story of a Chicago-based vigilante Aiden Pearce, a skilled hacker who can control the city of Chicago using his smartphone. During his work, he stumbles upon the underworld, and saw things he was never meant to, resulting in the loss of his family. Now, he’s back to get some revenge, and use every tool he can to find the people who wronged him.
The trailer above details the gameplay and story of the Watch dogs, as well as gives a glimpse of things to expect with the game. Let’s hope the game is worth the wait, and Ubisoft did manage to make full use of the extra time that has been taken to polish the game’s experience on different consoles as well as PC.
