Tired of carrying your best tablet computer around? You won’t have to carry your tablet around all day when you use the best tablet floor stands. We spent the past few weeks trying out several and came up with the 10 best tablet stands, then narrowed down our choices to the top seven. The tablet floor that stood out the most for us was the CTA Digital Height-Adjustable Gooseneck Floor Stand. It’s one of the most affordable yet quality floor stands available. It’s also light, easy to set up, and its gooseneck design offers more flexibility than the other brands we tried. It will work well with a top-rated tablet.
Our runner-up choice, LEVO’s Deluxe iPad Floor Stand, is the best in terms of overall quality but is also on the higher end of tablet floor stands. CTA Digital’s floor stand, our #1 pick, ultimately offered the best value for its price, which is why it became our top choice. Find out more about why these tablet floor stands are the best.
CTA Digital’s floor stand’s quality, affordability, portability makes it our top choice. It supports 7 to 13-inch devices. The tablet is secured at the corners, offering unobstructed access to its ports, cameras, and buttons. We also love the attachable storage cradle that can hold external battery packs.
Flexibility is one of the best things about this tablet stand. The metal gooseneck allows you to adjust your tablet’s position in more angles than any of the other stands we tried. It’s worth noting that the gooseneck is not as easy to bend, but makes it especially durable. It only weighs a little under 5 kilos and has an attachable swivel caster for movability. Don’t forget to have a look at the best tablet cover to protect your slate.
If money was no object, go for the LEVO Deluxe. It’s built with high-quality materials such as an anodized aluminum finish that looks as great as it functions. Its heavy base weighs 20 pounds, so you know it won’t topple easily.
This is a heavy-duty tablet floor stand that can endure frequent daily use. You can easily switch your tablet’s position with its 5-axis swing arm and flip lever height lock. The height is also easily adjustable from 30-56 inches. It’s compatible with devices measuring 13 inches and below. However, because of its weight, it’s not as portable, though its wheels allow it to move around a room easily. It works with all of the popular tablets like the Samsung Galaxy Tab S3 Tablet, iPad Pro, iPad Mini, and the Microsoft Surface Pro.
Mount-It!’s tablet floor stand is intended for public use and has excellent security features. You won’t have to worry about anyone stealing your iPad with its key-locked enclosure. You can bolt the base to the floor for added security. There’s also a document holder tray for flyers and brochures.
You can easily tilt your device and rotate it at 90 degrees, from portrait to landscape. Its height is at 42.75 inches, which isn’t adjustable. Mount-It!’s logo can also be distracting. These are minor gripes though, and while it doesn’t have the flexibility of other tablet floor stands, this is the one to buy for the maximum security of your tablet. It will protect all of the best android tablets and keep them safe. It doesn’t change your experience with the best ipads.
With this floor stand, we particularly loved the sturdiness of the base and the device holder. Its floor base weighs at 9.6 pounds, and it’s relatively heavy so it can hold still even when you’re typing on the tablet. Both its holder and its arms are also 360-degree rotatable with its height adjustable from 22.1 to 34.3 inches, so you can easily adjust it at different heights and angles to suit your requirements. The idée Floor Stand is compatible with most tablets around including the Microsoft Surface Pro, Kindles, and Samsung Galaxy Tabs.
Its design is a matter of preference. We like its clean, white look, but we’ve heard others say that it looks like a piece of hospital equipment. Either way, for mid-range floor stands, this is a great choice. It secures well enough that you won’t have to worry about the best ipad case.
It’s a tripod, so it won’t compare to the sturdiness of the other tablet floor stands, but we love that it’s lightweight and easy to carry around. It’s made of aluminum and has a collapsible design so it easily fits in the bag that comes with it. You can rotate your device 360 degrees, and it also has a remarkable height range from 20.5 to 50 inches.
It can only fit devices 7 to 12 inches in size so the bigger iPad Pro model won’t fit here. However, at its price, it’s still worth buying not just because of its portability, but because it also comes with freebies like a carrying case and a phone stand.

We like how effortless it is to place the tablet in the holder thanks to SAIJI’s stretchable design. Its aluminum alloy stand and white-colored base look simple yet elegant, especially for a fairly cheap floor stand. Its lighter weight also lets you can place it on tables.
Though its elastic gripper can hold devices from 4 to 13 inches, its main limitations are its adjustment ranges. Its height can only be adjusted from 12 to 19 inches and it has no arms. Its bottom does have a fixed-point slide and its clip supports 360-degree rotation, so it still offers some flexibility. While it doesn’t have arms nor CTA Digital’s gooseneck design, which drops it a notch, it’s still very much worth its price.
The LEVO G2 Essential is a great alternative to those who want a high-quality tablet floor stand without breaking the bank. Like the LEVO Deluxe, the G2 Essential is made of high-quality materials with an elegant design. Like the Deluxe, its sturdy aluminum frame is built for heavy-duty use. It is compatible with most screens including the iPad Mini, Surface Pro, Tablet PCs, and other tablets.
While it doesn’t have the heavy base and wheels of LEVO Deluxe, its V-shaped base still works well. Its light weight also makes it easy to move around the house. It has a 4-axis swing-arm instead of five, but it’s still enough for a decent range of flexibility. Its height adjusts from 26 to 43 inches and can hold tablets and smartphones 12 inches or less with its quick-release four-side clamps.
If quality were our only criteria, our list would’ve ended up with only the priciest tablet floor stands. However, we wanted to include tablet floor stands for every budget range, so we reviewed products from the most affordable, to the mid-range, to the high-end ones.
Combining quality with affordability was how we came up with the list. Tablet floor stands that were cheap but quickly broke or couldn’t sustain holding the device for long hours didn’t make our cut. Adjustability was another deciding factor. Other brands weren’t included because of their more limited height and angle adjustability. We also didn’t include stands that were more expensive but had qualities that you can find from low or mid-range tablet floor stands.
Tablet floor stands are not the most sophisticated devices, so it’s relatively easy to choose a great product as long as you keep an eye on the following features:
