#1  VIVO Mobile Rolling TV Mount Cart

WHY WE LIKE IT: It’s a highly adjustable, extremely heavy-duty unit that can hold a wide range of monitors and handle the heaviest of A/V equipment securely while maintaining maximum flexibility of movement.

  • Integrated cable management system
  • Mid-shelving capable of holding up to 30lbs
  • Tiltable up to 15 degrees forward or backward
  • Included assembly tools of lesser quality than some models
  • One of the heavier models we researched

The Vivo is a heavy-duty cart that can hold most 32″ to 65″ televisions and monitors to a maximum weight of 110 lbs and is VESA mount compatible from 200x200mm to 600x400mm. The middle shelving holds up to an impressive 30lbs of equipment, and the high-quality lockable wheel casters keep the cart well in place regardless of how much weight is put upon them.

The integrated cable management system is easy to use and keeps multiple cables tangle-free and out of sight better than most.  #2  Perlesmith Mobile Rolling TV Mount Cart

WHY WE LIKE IT: An incredibly solid unit made for slightly smaller and lighter monitor mounting needs that offers good height and shelving adjustment options and integrated cable management.

  • Lockable casters to prevent movement
  • Easy assembly with tools and detailed instructions included
  • Removable mid shelving
  • No adjustment option for tilt
  • Less suitable for heavier A/V equipment

The Perlesmith offers secure mounting for most 23″ to 55” televisions and monitors weighing up to 55 lbs and is compatible with VESA mounts from 100×100 mm up to 400×400 mm. The removable mid-shelving can hold items up to 22lbs and the heavy-duty wheels feature lockable casters, and it features an integrated cable management system.

It’s a great unit for smaller screens, though the mid-shelving will still hold a reasonable amount of weight, and the detailed instructions make it easy to assemble, but the lack of adjustable tilt makes it slightly less versatile than our top choice. How We Decided

Rolling TV mount carts come in a lot of shapes, sizes, and price points, so for the purpose of this list, we looked at heavy-duty carts that can support televisions and monitors with maximum screen specs of no smaller than 55” and weight ratings of no less than 80lbs, and which are compatible with all standard VESA mounting systems. Additionally, it may be helpful to understand what sizes TVs come in if you are considering a cart.

We favored carts with multiple adjustment options and at least one sturdy A/V storage shelf for laptops, gaming consoles, cable box, and other equipment weighing at least 10lbs- an absolute necessity unless you’re willing and have space to push around two separate carts- one for A/V equipment and one for the actual monitor or television. We especially like carts with larger, wider storage shelves, which can comfortably hold a wider variety of equipment. Additionally, you can learn how to connect a phone to a TV to use it for media consumption as well.

Finally, we generally liked carts with a built-in cable management system to hide unsightly cables and those that featured heavy-duty lockable wheel casters or some other method to keep the cart steady as you go about using the unit, and all

Best Rolling TV Mount Cart Buyer’s Guide

The Most Important Features to Consider

  1. VESA Mounting System Compatible
The VESA mounting system is the standardized system for mounting flat screen televisions and monitors to walls, stands, and mobile carts, made in increments anywhere from 50X50 to 600X400 millimeters, so it’s crucial that whatever heavy-duty rolling tv stand you chose is fully compatible with the system.
    • Be sure to check the exact size of your VESA mount to be sure the stand you buy is compatible, especially if one is a more modern design versus the older one.
    • Keep in mind the size of the cart, like width alongside length. Some devices may be thicker in width than others, like flat curved screen TVs versus flat-screen TVs. Check that the cart’s dimensions can accommodate different flat-screen sizes.
    • Also, consider weight capacity to ensure it can securely hold the TV setup. Look for a sturdy design rated to hold 100+ lbs. Smooth-rolling caster wheels and a wide base further enhance stability, allowing you to easily reposition the TV viewing angle.
    • Length matters so, because a flat panel may have a long length, and you don’t want to worry about someone walking by and bumping into 65-inch screens.
  2. Cable Organization
Even if you’re only using a laptop, long power and adapter cables can create an unsightly mess, and a snag can wind up pulling expensive gear to the floor. Moreover, using multiple pieces of AV equipment and gaming devices can create a tangled mess that’ll take forever to straighten out. This is the potential downside to a universal TV cart. That’s why cable management features are an important thing to look for in any rolling tv stand or cart, especially if you have a complicated setup with lots of wires. A laptop shelf can add some more organization as well.
  3. Lockable Caster Wheels
The mobility of a rolling tv cart is its central feature, however making sure it stays put when it reaches its destination is a must especially be given the fact that floors aren’t always as perfectly flat as they seem and it’s easy enough for a rolling floor TV stand to be pushed accidentally and knocked over, which wouldn’t bode well for your equipment. Therefore, making sure your rolling tv stand or cart comes with high-quality, reliable heavy-duty locking wheels is a must.
  4. Adjustability
Making sure a rolling stand will hold your TV or monitor securely and that the cart itself stays put are important, but more often than not, you’ll also need to make adjustments at the mount point for the tilt and angle of the television (adjustable height can make a difference in various settings too)– therefore it’s important that your stand features extensive adjustability options and a locking mechanism so that the adjustment is secure. That also leads to considering the material durability of the mobile trolley cart. A mobile TV cart made of a high-quality steel frame can last longer than weaker materials like plastic wheels, and it can give you more confidence when making the height adjustable for a better viewing height.
