We took the time to assemble a list of the best rolling tv mount carts for flatscreen televisions and monitors. We favored units with heavy-duty construction that were compatible with VESA standard mounts and had lockable wheels for secure use. We also liked carts and rolling tv stands with cable management features and extensive adjustability for height, angle, and tilt, and which were appropriate for outdoor use. To ensure that you have the right gadgets to enrich your entertainment space, look for great options in our best TV accessories guide.
Of the models we tested, the VIVO Mobile Rolling TV Mount Cart was the best, for its heavy-duty built quality, sturdy main mount, and mid-shelving capable of storing heavy monitors and equipment, high adjustability, and excellent cable management system. Keeping reading to see the rest of the models on our list.
Award: TOP PICK
WHY WE LIKE IT: It’s a highly adjustable, extremely heavy-duty unit that can hold a wide range of monitors and handle the heaviest of A/V equipment securely while maintaining maximum flexibility of movement.
The Vivo is a heavy-duty cart that can hold most 32″ to 65″ televisions and monitors to a maximum weight of 110 lbs and is VESA mount compatible from 200x200mm to 600x400mm. The middle shelving holds up to an impressive 30lbs of equipment, and the high-quality lockable wheel casters keep the cart well in place regardless of how much weight is put upon them.
The integrated cable management system is easy to use and keeps multiple cables tangle-free and out of sight better than most. The entire unit is on the heavier side compared to some otherst, and the included assembly tools could be better, but most will find it easy to put together. Award: HONORABLE MENTION
WHY WE LIKE IT: An incredibly solid unit made for slightly smaller and lighter monitor mounting needs that offers good height and shelving adjustment options and integrated cable management.
The Perlesmith offers secure mounting for most 23″ to 55” televisions and monitors weighing up to 55 lbs and is compatible with VESA mounts from 100×100 mm up to 400×400 mm. The removable mid-shelving can hold items up to 22lbs and the heavy-duty wheels feature lockable casters, and it features an integrated cable management system.
It’s a great unit for smaller screens, though the mid-shelving will still hold a reasonable amount of weight, and the detailed instructions make it easy to assemble, but the lack of adjustable tilt makes it slightly less versatile than our top choice. Award: BEST FOR WIDE DISPLAYS
WHY WE LIKE IT: It can hold some of the largest screens and has a wider wheel base than similar models, giving it exceptional balance for top-heavy uses.
The Onkron can mount most screens from 32” – 65” with a maximum weight of 100 lbs and is compatible with all VESA mounts from 200x200mm up to 600x400mm. It includes two A/V mid shelves as opposed to the standard one, both of which are rated at a maximum of 10 lbs, features more height adjustment options than average as well, integrated cable management, and lockable wheel casters.
Though it lacks a tilt adjustment option, the Onkron’s wheelbase is wider and sturdier than most, giving it exceptional balance and making it an excellent choice for top-heavy applications, though it’s not as much of a value as similar models available today. Award: BEST FOR EXTRA LARGE MODELS
WHY WE LIKE IT: It’s a solidly built unit with extra-secure mounting features and more adjustment options than other models, including 8 different height settings.
The TAVR can mount screens from 32” to 70” with a maximum weight of up to 110lbs and is compatible with VESA mounts from 100x100mm up to 600x400mm. It features lockable wheel braces, mid shelving capable of holding up to 15lbs of equipment, an adjustable tilt of up to 15 degrees, and 8 different height settings.
The cable management system isn’t as discreet as most others and the rectangular wheelbase design is less sturdy than the standard circular design, but the high weight limit, plentiful adjustment options, and extra-large screen limit makes it a great choice for more robust setups. This cart would be just big enough to keep the best 65 inch TV on.
Award: BEST FOR CONSOLE GAMING
WHY WE LIKE IT: Superior balance and some unique support features, such as an extra-baffled top A/V shelf, make it a good alternative for some applications, including console gaming.
The ABCCANOPY can mount screens 32-65” weighing up to 100lbs and is compatible with all VESA mounts from 50x50mm up to 600x400mm. It features lockable wheel casters, tilt adjustable up to 15 degrees, and integrated cable management. It comes with two A/V shelves, one extra-large mid-shelf with a maximum weight rating of 30 lbs, and one small baffled top shelf that hangs over the mounted screen.
The ABCCANOPY’s extra-large mid-shelf gives it an advantage over other units when it comes to holding equipment like projectors, game consoles, or rigs with multiple small components, while the unique top A/V shelf is great for web cameras, game console motion detectors, and other smaller, lighter pieces of gear. The unusual wheelbase design also offers a better balance than average, making it an excellent choice for a sturdy, mobile gaming setup. All you’re missing is the best TV for gaming.
Award: BEST FOR HEAVY DISPLAYS
WHY WE LIKE IT: A sturdy but lightweight and unfussy unit with plenty of adjustment options and is a great choice for casual applications, with 15 degrees of tilt adjustability.
The Mount Factory rolling TV cart can mount screens from 32-65” weighing up to 110lbs and is compatible with all VESA mounts from 200x200mm up to 600x400mm. It features lockable wheel casters, tilt adjustability up to 15 degrees, a good-sized A/V shelf rated for up to 22 lbs, and a simple removable back-panel integrated cable management system.
It’s an all-around solid unit with slightly smaller wheels than similar models and a fairly basic cable management system compared to most, but the plentiful adjustment options, slightly larger than average A/V shelf, and easy mobility make it a fantastic choice for many applications. If your best shows run during the week when you are busy, you can use the best DVD recorder to record the shows and watch them on the weekend.
Award: BEST ON A BUDGET
WHY WE LIKE IT: It’s got plenty of adjustment options and is an excellent budget-friendly solution for those looking to mount extra-large displays.
The 5Rcom can mount screens from 32-70” weighing up to 88lbs and is compatible with all VESA mounts up to 600x400mm. It has locking wheel casters, a small A/V shelf rated to 11lbs, and features adjustable tilt up to 15 degrees, and a good range of height adjustability using its easy-to-use tool-free adjustment knobs.
It’s a good value if you’re looking to mount an extra-large screen, but the maximum weight is lower than some of the models. Additionally, there is no cable management system here, which could be a turnoff for some consumers. Searching for a multifunctional recorder for your best shows? Rolling TV mount carts come in a lot of shapes, sizes, and price points, so for the purpose of this list, we looked at heavy-duty carts that can support televisions and monitors with maximum screen specs of no smaller than 55” and weight ratings of no less than 80lbs, and which are compatible with all standard VESA mounting systems.
We favored carts with multiple adjustment options and at least one sturdy A/V storage shelf for laptops, gaming consoles, cable box, and other equipment weighing at least 10lbs- an absolute necessity unless you’re willing and have space to push around two separate carts- one for A/V equipment and one for the actual monitor or television. We especially like carts with larger, wider storage shelves, which can comfortably hold a wider variety of equipment.
Finally, we generally liked carts with a built-in cable management system to hide unsightly cables and those that featured heavy-duty lockable wheel casters or some other method to keep the cart steady as you go about using the unit, and all
