So BF4 is a heavy juggernaut with its sights on the juicy fall shopping season with its timely autumn release date. But there will be stiff competition. By now, gamers in the know should be aware of a new period-placed hitman set to also stalk the 2013 Q3 timeline. Ubisoft has dropped word that Assassin’s Creed 4: Black Flag will launch near and around the same time. But until now all we knew about the official 4th installment was that it will be replete with everyone’s favorite plunder princes and booty bandits. Argh! I be’s speaking of those infernal pirates, ya land-lovers.
Today we have more. Ubi has provided the work with a premier. Here’s the first peek at actual gameplay from Assassin’s Creed 4 Black Flag. The game pits young Edward Kenway, a pirate whose skills in the blades and cunning on the seas have been been honed by both pirates and the Assassins. This time you can parkour your way through ancient jungles, exotic cities and aboard the decks of mighty naval vessels as the series continues and expands its naval combat mechanics.
Assassin’s Creed 4 Black Flag will be available November 1, for Wii-U, Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3.
