Battlefield 3 is probably one of the most hotly anticipated games of this year and we just got word (actually yesterday) that it will launch October 25th.  If you can’t wait until then, fear not, for EA will release a multiplayer demo sometime in September.  Unfortunately, they were mum on the actual demo release date, but we’d assume sooner than later in September since the game launches in the following month.

If you recall, EA and DICE have created an new version of the engine, Frostbite 2, so you should expect bigger explosions, better sound and more realistic graphics.  From what we understand they have a hands on demo setup at E3 this year, which officially kicked off today.  So if you head over there be sure to check it out and let us know what you think.
