It’s Microsoft’s turn for product leaks this week — an Italian site allegedly has images of a Project Natal prototype that reveal new details for the anticipated device. From the images, we can gather that the motion recognition system apparently runs on its own power source, and that the Natal’s sensor array is so sensitive that users should not tilt it manually.

In addition, it appears the prototype is being sent out to test its speech recognition functionality — powering on the 360 through voice commands looks to be in the cards. I thought turning the 360 on wirelessly was the ultimate in laziness…now buttons aren’t needed? Sign me up.
