The above title is a good question actually.  Though I’m still feeling down about how “not that cool” the PSP Go is going to be, what would happen to all my physical UMD games if I did upgrade?  John Koller, Sony Director of some department allegedly told Gizmodo that there is a plan to allow you to receive digital copies of your preexisting UMD collection.  Hmmm…for free?  I would think highly unlikely.  If Sony, who is trying recoup some massive losses, could squeeze $5 out of you for a digital copy of a game you already own, why wouldn’t they?  More news about this should surface soon as it is an important subject for the PSP Go.
