LG Optimus Big Smartphone Hitting Korean Market Tomorrow, Boasts Nova Display

4.3-inches is quickly becoming the standard for smartphone screen sizes. At least that’s what many a smartphone manufacturer would have you believe when it comes to their Android powered handsets.
Hitting the Korean market tomorrow is the LG Optimus Big. On board is Android 2.2 with a slight LG twist, a 5 megapixel camera, 16GB of built-in storage, WiFi direct, Bluetooth 3.0, HDMI connectivity, a 1500mAh battery and a 1Ghz dual-core processor. Honestly, we’re surprised that it doesn’t sport an 8-megapixel shooter like the G2x (aka Optimus), but what you lose in optics you gain in screen size and clarity (it’s LG’s Nova display), and boasts a 700 cd/m2 brightness.
A US launch isn’t in sight, at least not yet, but you can probably track one down on the import market.
