Polaroid might be officially dead, but that hasn’t stopped Urban Outfitters, the hipster retailer from getting their hands on left over stock of the once hyper popular camera. They’ll sell a total of 700 kits, which will feature a hand written collector’s number and include one pack of deadstock Polaroid Instant Film and a Polaroid One600 classic, the last Polaroid camera to be produced. The retailer will also sell additional Polaroid film that has been hand selected and stored at cold temperatures exclusively for Urban. If you happen to live in LA they’ll launch the camera kits in conjunction with a gallery opening at 15 Twenty in Los Angeles, which will host a month long group show of Polaroid photos. There’s no word on a price or official launch date, but if I had to wager a guess I’d say in the next week or two.
Grew up back East, got sick of the cold and headed West. Since I was small I have been pushing buttons - both electronic and human. With an insatiable need for tech I thought "why not start a blog focusing on technology, and use my dislikes and likes to post on gadgets."
