Toshiba launched two new photo frames before the weekend, the the Journe Air 801 and Journe Air 1000. Both frames include built-in WiFi, RSS readers and touch sensitive controls. What makes them different from the millions of other LCD photo frames on the market is the 801′s ability to remotely control your computers desktop (Sub-View) and the 1000′s ability to stream Internet radio stations. The Air 1000 also includes an infrared remote, 1GB of internal storage and 10-inch LED backlit LCD screen. The 801 on the other hand sports a smaller 8.4-inch LED backlit LCD, some sort of 3D view that lets users ‘merge visuals and sound for a funky slideshow’ and just 128MB of storage.
No word on a street date, but they’ll cost £169.99 ($240) and £139.99 ($200) when they hit the UK.
