PrimoVolta an Outdoor Research company is selling self regulating heated gloves for about $250. The gloves use Aevex technology to evenly warm your hands. The thermostat, if you will, is a polymer that changes density based on the temperature in the glove thus drawing power from the battery in the wrist only when needed.
