Dada Code-M MP3 Shoes Finally Make an Appearance (an Ugly One at that)
March 8th, 2007

Remember those ridiculous Dada MP3 sneakers we featured some many months back? CNet got their hands on a pair and did a quick video review. Turns out that those silver discs on the sneaker’s side are in fact speakers (we thought they might be) – they say sound quality is sub par but no surprise there. Total storage capacity is 124mb (why not 128mb – firmware?) and according to CNet, the actual MP3 player is built in to the sole of the shoe just under the foot padding. Controls are administered from the tongue and a pair of Bluetooth headphones are included, although we didn’t see them in the video. Still no official word on release date, price, or battery length. One thing’s for sure, though: you’ll get your ass kicked for wearin’ a pair of these on or off the court.

Who the hell wrote this? You have never played basketball with anyone but your dad apparently. These shoes are some of the most wanted items among my friends in the three major cities I travel to. Not only is music apart of todays marketing campaigns now more than ever but if you’re older than 25 and younger than 16 then you’re not even in the target market and should have found a different writter.

The writer is referring to the fact that one is liable to get mugged for the shoes not ass-kicked because they’re ugly.
