Bluetooth Headset Designed for Stylish Women
April 4th, 2006
The Bluepearls BP7G Bluetooth headset for women, comes in 7 different finishes with 9 interchangeable face plates, and weighs a mere 7.9 grams. The V1.2 compatible headset supports 18 hours of continues talk, 500 hours of standby, and includes a ‘Powerbank’ cradle for charging. Clearly the catch here isn’t so much functionality or originality, but the target demo. Available for $80.

[...] When it comes to fancy gadgets, looking good is at least as important as functionality. Who am I kidding – it’s all about looking good. I’m not sure what makes a Bluetooth headset gender-specific, but apparently the Bluepearls BP7G Bluetooth headset is just for women. Women who want to look good, mind you. It comes with 7 different finishes and has 9 different interchangeable faceplates. At 7.9 grams they have attempted to make it as light and small as possible. Pretty cool. (Gadget Review) [...]

It’s not about the fashion. Every article I read on Bluepearls mentions something about women and their primal need for fashion. NEWS FLASH that is not why these were created. Every headset I have ever owned, wired or bluetooth, is too big for my ear. It’s painful to wear it properly and I often let it dangle on the edge of my inner ear sacrificing sound for comfort. Lets face it people, the existing products are made for men. Bluepearls, on the other hand, are made to fit a women’s ear, its just luck that they look decent while being functional.

So… now we all know how “cute” blue pearls are BUT does anybody out there know about the sound quality both incoming and out going…and what about wind noise…I think it is a good idea to have an earpiece to fit small women …it has been frusterating tiring to find an earpiece that funtions well and fits and is comfortable…

Christina and Kim - We are appreciate that you have taken notice of our newest product - especially designed for you. If you give me a few moments - I will explain.
The unit is light - very light only 7.9 grams so the weight factor and size factor are very unique. Desin and fashion go only as far as comfort will allow wearing the unit. Additionally, we have designed three ear bud sizes for you - to make sure somethingis going to work for your ears. Also we have “LIFE” product designed with major upgrades. New loud speaker, new improved microphone, 30% more volume and better EQ over all!!. If you want a special consideration for our company - please email me directly. I really want you to try these. Just pick a color !! Kind regards,
David Clemons

I’ve found it impossible to get any technical info on this product. The Bluepearl website has no information other than how it looks and that it’s for women.
Some of us are interested in more than how good it looks.

Every Blue Tooth I have tried falls off my ear when I turn my head. I am looking for something for women that will be comfortable and be secure on my ear. If I were to buy the Blue Pearl and didn’t like it, what is the return policy?
Thank you…..

Does anyone know if I can I get one of those Bluepearls BP7G in Edmonton, Alberta? I can’t find a Bluetooth to fit my ears. Very frusterated!!

a2dp audio profile would make this headset ideal. I have only found one mono a2dp capable headset so far and it is too big for my ear.
