While Best Cool Wallets are all the rage right now, narrowing your search will help you achieve better and more refined results. If you want a wallet with ample card-carrying capabilities, look up the Best Wallet for Apple Card. And to that end, the Ridge Wallet should have everything, if not most, of what you’re looking for.

Why We Like It – Ridge Wallet

The Ridge Wallet is a fantastic minimalist and sleek wallet that allows you to choose its construction (from aluminum, carbon fiber, or titanium) based on your needs and how little or much you’d like to take care of it. Oh, and the lifetime warranty is a nice little add-on too.

Pros
  • Lightweight
  • RFID Blocking Technology
  • Can Hold Cash Too
Cons
  • Only a Few Color Varieties
  • Expensive
  • Card Retrieval Becomes Harder After 6 Cards

Aesthetics

The Ridge Minimalist Wallet comes in a few different colors, which is nice, but it’s nowhere near the FurArt Slim Minimalist Wallet level. As you may have already guessed, the Ridge applies a sleek, minimalist aesthetic that’s perfect for anyone who doesn’t necessarily like to carry around many cards or is at least trying to tone it down some.

Durability

The Ridge Wallet comes in an array of materials, including aluminum, carbon fiber, and titanium. They each have their strengths and weaknesses. For example, titanium tends to attract dust, while carbon fiber is usually lightweight. Speaking of lightweight, even the heaviest material maxes the wallet out at only 2.5 Ounces, the same as the Karllinger Organizer Wallet.

Performance

The Ridge Money Clip comes with the all-important RFID Blocking Technology. It’s not exactly commonplace yet, but it is quickly becoming so, and we’re happy they included it here. The cash strap also holds your bills securely, and there’s no feeling of them shuffling around. Check out the Boshiho Leather Credit Card Holder if a cash strap is the least of your concerns or The Chums Surfshorts Wallet if having a hidden keyring is something you would like to have in a wallet.

Size/Versatility

There are some wallets meant specifically for cards that can also hold cash. But the amount of cards these wallets can hold is about 10, half what a standard cardholder can hold. The Ridge Wallet can hold 12, which is excellent even if it is only two more. We’re putting this in the win column. Just be aware that it starts becoming a little difficult retrieving the card you need after six cards.

Value

Let’s get this out of the way and admit that the Ridge Wallet is very expensive, comparatively. But it’s built solid and can do more than most wallets in its class, so this is to be somewhat expected. On the plus side, it does come with a lifetime warranty. This includes a replacement for elastics, screws, money clip, and the cash strap plate.

Ridge Wallet Wrap Up

The biggest turn-off with the Ridge Wallet is how expensive it is. If you can get over that, you won’t be disappointed with your purchase. It’s lightweight, includes the up-and-coming RFID Blocking Technology, and comes with a lifetime warranty should anything happen to it by accident.
