If you’re looking for some Best Cool Wallets but don’t know where to start, check out our Best Smart Wallet list. And if you’re a frequent traveler or just need a wallet that can accommodate a healthy number of cards and paper bills, then the Bellroy Travel Wallet may be for you.

Why We Like It – Bellroy Travel Wallet

Bellroy Travel Wallets are another in a long line of successful and high-end Bellroy products. This time around, we have a travel wallet that includes RFID-Blocking Technology for extra protection and an understated aesthetic to make room for more of the wallets’ utilitarian features.

  • Neat Edge Stitching
  • Accommodates up to 10 Cards
  • Two Dividers for Cash
  • Not Exactly Stylish
  • Prone to Stretching With Heavy Use
  • Expensive

The Bellroy Travel Wallet isn’t going to win any awards for design, with the only design to speak of is the small, embossed Bellroy logo on the bottom right, but that’s okay. It’s a utilitarian wallet, means to hold boarding passes, travel documents or even be used as a passport holder. But if you insist on being stylish, try the Travando Wallet.

Bellroy products are known for being high quality, and this travel wallet is no different. It has neat and tidy edge stitching for a superior look but is prone to stretching if heavily used. It’s constructed environmentally certified leather, which is always nice and has a decent color selection. Try the Flipside Wallet if you’d like strength. It is one of the strongest because of its construction, combining polycarbonate and an aircraft-grade aluminum interior, to create an incredibly crush-resistant shell.

The wallet comes with the all-important RFID-Blocking Technology, like the Serman Brands Wallet. While this may not be commonplace in all wallets just yet, that day is fast approaching. The Bellroy Wallet also comes with a built-in travel pen holder, so you’re not always scrounging around for one while out and about.

The extra-long dimensions of the Bellroy Travel Wallet are one of the main selling points. It can accommodate up to 10 cards and has a slanted fold pocket for a standard size passport. It also has two dividers for cash, of which one is a hidden compartment. There’s no place for a SIM Card, though, something a frequent traveler might like.

The Bellroy Travel Wallet is expensive, and I wouldn’t blame somebody for looking elsewhere even if this wallet gives them everything they want. However, it is backed by a three-year warranty, which is more than we can say for most wallets in its class, and shows just how much Bellroy believes in its product.

Bellroy Travel Wallet Wrap Up

If you can get past the Bellroy Travel Wallet price, you will find it has what you’re seeking in a wallet. You don’t even need to be a frequent traveler to get the most out of it. And if you’re not, you won’t have to worry about the wallet stretching out carrying your passport!
