It’ll be sometime until BMW starts to sell the M4.  So if can’t wait, there is an alternative.  It’s called the Alpina B4 Bi-Turbo Coupe.

The Alpina B4 Bi-Turbo Coupe takes the car’s existing powertrain and tunes it to the gills, bumping horsepower from 300hp to 410 and tweaks torque from 300 lb-ft to a whopping 442.  0 to 60 mph you ask?  4.2 seconds.  It’s a set of specs and time that will like set pace with the M4 and perhaps begs the question of why wait for the officially tuned version of the vehicle.

Other features include a ZF sourced 8-speed transmission, Alpina sport suspension, and bold 20-inch Alpina wheels.

Unfortunately, pricing for the Alpina B4 Bi-Turbo Coupe won’t be very forgiving and in fact is probably on par with the M4; almost $80,000.
