Savant iPod Touch Remote Enclosure Adds Physical Buttons, RF and More
Got an iPod Touch? Looking to upgrade your home automation system to that next level of opulence? Then you might wanna look at Savant. They offer a wide array of products and yesterday announced a remote enclosure that fits Apple’s iPod touch.
This results in not only a 3.5-inch touchscreen replete with a variety of controls, but 18 backlit buttons, RF connectivity, VoIP calls via Savant’s IPBX system and probably much more. It comes in black or white and includes a desktop charger. Support for Facetime chat is still available and you can also access CCTV cameras scattered throughout your property.
Word on the street is that it will hit store shelves Q1 of next year for $399.
