The Maestro Laser Guitar Aide designed by Eugene Cheong looks pretty amazing. I hope a video emerges soon, because I have a lot of questions. With no word yet on pricing or availability, information is scarce at best. From the looks of the below picture, it seems to be transcribing Metallica’s “One”, has a SD card slot, and a couple other function buttons. But does it only teach cover songs? What if I want to learn a scale, mode, or sweep arpeggio? Will the lasers reach the far end of the neck? Will there be proprietary software to convert Mp3′s? Can you play along with the lasers? Too many questions!
