Cell Phones — 25 November 2008
Nokia launched their 6260 Slide today, which is basically a modded version of the 6220 Classic. It’s running on the S40 platform and includes A-GPS, quad-band edge on top of 3G, WiFi, 200MB internal memory expandable by microSD, 5MP camera, 2.5mm TV out, slide out keypad and a 2.4-inch 320×480 screen. Sleek as it is, it’s still no smartphone. But with a 6 hour talk and 400 hour standby time, it makes for a great back up phone.
The Nokia 6260 Slide is expected to hit Europe early ’09 for €299.
