Expect Blackberry’s newest phone, the Blackberry Pearl (8100) to arrive on TMobile sometime soon (at least according to the Tmobile website). The Blackberry claims the Pearl to be the lightest smart phone weighing in at a mere 3.1 oz. The quad band (850/900/1800/1900 MHz) GSM/GPRS and Edge based phone includes a ‘pearl like trackball’ for navigation, the Suretype keypad, Bluetooth, 240×260 screen that adjusts to lighting for optimal viewing, and a 1.3 megapixel camera. On board memory is 64MB but can be expanded via a MicroSD card slot. MP3 and other audio/video is also supported and expect a 15 day battery life and 3.5 hour talk time.
Update 2: You can get the Pearl here for $0 if you sign a 2 year contract with T-Mobile. We checked out the BBB and the company is in good standing.
