Even though this artificial Boston fern plant didn’t make our list of the best artificial plants, it still is a strong contender if you are looking for artificial plants that look great in a doorway or on a porch. It also looks great indoors, but since it doesn’t come with its own pot it is up to you to pick one out. Of course, it is not a good idea to place it in your lawn garden.

Why We Like It – Silk Boston Fern

This realistic looking Silk Boston Fern is the perfect addition to any household. No matter if you put it in an entranceway or inside, this artificial plant is sure to impress

  • 48” Spread
  • Looks Realistic
  • Made of Silk
  • No Pot Included
  • If You Decide To Return It You Are Responsible For All Shipping Costs
  • May Discolor In Direct Sunlight

Want a realistic-looking Boston fern? Silk is the way to go! This plant looks full of life with 88 branches and can be used to liven up any space that’s not in direct sunlight. It’s not very tall (if you want a tall plant try the Nearly Natural 6ft Ficus Artificial Plant instead) but it has a spread of 48″. You may have to fluff this plant when you receive it, but since it doesn’t come with its own pot anyway it won’t be that much of an extra hassle. In case you want to store your items in a heavy-duty instant garage, check our Shelterlogic peak style autoshelter review for a great option.

Unlike LuckyGreenery Artificial Plant Succulents, these artificial Boston Fern plants are made of silk. This gives them a giant advantage over plastic plants because they look very much like a real plant, rather than a shiny imitation. The only downside to being made of silk is that this product will discolor in direct sunlight, but that is easily avoidable. Each fern plant has a spread of 48″, which should be more than enough to fill any space you put it in. Unfortunately, this plant does not come with its own pot so you will need to purchase one. Do you have a sprayer to maintain your garden against weed and insects? We would like to recommend an option detailed in our Solo 425 4 gallon backpack sprayer review.

This Boston fern is fairly priced at $57.61 per plant (for a cheaper indoor option, try Butterfly Craze Artificial Lavender Artificial Plants). It does include free shipping, but you will be responsible for all shipping costs if you decide to return it. For that price, you get one 48″ artificial Boston fern made of silk, but surprisingly, you don’t get a pot. Pots are fairly easy to come by, so it’s not that big of a deal, but it still would have been nice to see one included as many other plants do come with their own pots.

Silk Boston Fern Wrap Up

This Silk Boston Fern is a great faux plant if you’re looking for a no-maintenance way to spruce up an entranceway, porch, or any room inside your house with a pot. While this product doesn’t actually include a pot (which would have been nice), it nonetheless succeeds at being a high-quality and realistic-looking artificial plant for a reasonable price.
