Buy Microsoft's Office 365, Get 12 Months of Xbox Live Gold For Free

Microsoft wants to really sell its subscription-based cloud productivity suite, Office 365 and they’re thinking that if they throw in a year free of Xbox Live Gold, they’ll boost sales for Office 365. If you’re looking to score on Xbox Live Gold for free then you have until September 28th to buy and activate an Office 365 Premium or Office 365 University annual subscription (or even the physical product for either one) to do so. Office 365 was first launched back in June 2011, meant to target enterprise customers, small businesses and those in education. You can still buy standalone Office 2013, Excel and Outlook, but the deal clearly makes it seem that Microsoft wants to really sell Office 365. The offer seems to target those going into college, or those “gamers” heading to “University.”

The offer is now available in 38 countries, including Argentina, Australia, Austria, Belgium, Brazil, Canada, Chile, Colombia, Czech Republic, Denmark, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Hong Kong, Hungary, Ireland, Israel, Italy, Korea, Mexico, Netherlands, New Zealand, Norway, Poland, Portugal, Russia, Saudi Arabia, Singapore, Slovakia, South Africa, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, Taiwan, Turkey, United Arab Emirates, United Kingdom. Of course, you’ll notice that the United States isn’t on that list, which might totally bum you out now…sorry!
