OUYA, the Android gaming console that raised $8 million on Kickstarter.com, will start arriving to backers’ doorsteps as soon as March 28th according to the company.  Those of you who didn’t jump on board the Kickstarter campaign will still have to wait until June, when the $100 gaming system will hit retail stores and begin shipping from OUYA’s online store.

In addition to revealing the OUYA’s official ship date, the company also took the time to announce a slew of new games that are heading to the Android console, some exclusive and some not.  Kim Swift of Portal and Left 4 Dead fame, is developing a brand new, exclusive title for the OUYA that is said to “definitely appeal to core gamers in terms of skill and difficulty, it really has a completely unexpected, imaginative slant that’s totally at home on this console.”  Moreover, Minority Media, developers of the critically acclaimed Papo & Yo, is set to produce an adventure puzzle game that will “take full advantage of the OUYA touchpad and buttons simultaneously.”  Other notable titles to expect include “The Ball” from Tripwire Interactive and “ChronoBlade” from nWay studios.
