Yesterday, Sony unveiled their official PlayStation 3 wireless headset.  It features virtual 7.1-channel surround sound, a retractable mic, a mute button and volume control with the simple swipe of a finger on the headset.  Unfortunately, Sony’s wireless headset will not work with Blu-ray discs, which is a shame since it costs just $99.99.  It’s important to note that it’s virtual surround sound, which is emulated using digital signal processing, as opposed to true surround sound, which utilizes additional speakers.
