There is hardly any justification for spending close to $1,000 on an iPad Dock.  For that kind of cash you could travel the better part of the world or at least reach western Europe from any state in the US and still have money left over to go for a steak dinner and booze with your buddies (or girlfriend).

Nevertheless, that’s how much this iPad dock, the AeroPad Two, costs from Jarre.  Truth told it sells for €699 ($925 US), but what’s $75 at that point.  In addition to a 30-pin dock there is a USB port for flash drives, which is compatible with WMA, AIFF, WAVE & MP3 encoding.  In the speaker department there are 4 speakers at 30W RMS and 1 subwoofer with 80 watts of juice.  All this is complemented by a bamboo build available in either black or white and finished with stainless steel with chromium finishing.

We’re not sure when the AeroPad Two will begin shipping, but at least it comes with a 2-year warranty.
