The iPod Dock space is over saturated, no doubt about that. But Speakal, in their infinite of wisdom has managed to carve out a niche all of their own: speaker docks that resemble sports paraphernalia.
First they started with the soccer speaker dock and now, today at CES they’ve launched a basketball, football and golf ball version. The first two use the same speaker setup as the soccer ball dock (a 2.1-channel configuration with 360 degree sound output and a 15 watt subwoofer) while the golf ball inspired MiGolfball sports Bluetooth wireless connectivity.
There is no word on a launch date or price, but we’re expecting ASAP.
