Hard to believe, but it’s been 9 months since we’ve heard anything about the Aston Martin V12 Zagato.  If you recall the car made headlines with its forward thinking and aggressive design, while maintaining a subtly generally found in cars of a less sporty facade.

At the time that Aston Martin unveiled this beauty it was purely a concept vehicle that saw time at Le Mans and the Nürburgring ring.  And until today we assumed it would never see production.  Boy were we wrong.  Details are a bit scant, but the Zagato V12 will see production according to the big wigs at Aston Martin.  Reports online believe that the production version won’t vary from the concept vehicle presented last year.  In other words it should sports a 6.0 litre V12 engine that can produce over 500hp and 420 lb/ft of torque – needless to say enough to whip your hair back.  However, what is officially known, is that Aston will only produce 150 of these beauties and each one will cost about $550,000 (ouch!).  And while that is a hefty price tag, odds are the reservations will get scooped up faster than free cone day at Ben and Jerrys.
