Didn’t anyone learn from the failure of the media described ‘Taco’, better known as the Ngage?
A London entrepreneur, Carl Freer, has created a device that plays games and DVDs, acts a GPS unit, and can create text messages.
Hopefully Carl spent more time and creativity on building the device then on its name: Gizmondo. He doesn’t plan on taking on the bigger game companies, but wanted in all in one device that he feels suits the every day need of the 15-35 age range.
The games can be downloaded or installed via 256mb SD memory cards.
The device, launched in London March 2005, is not yet available in the US but will be shortly.
My regards Carl. You heard of the PSP, Gameboy, on Nintendo DS?
