Spawned in the horrendous heat of a Los Angeles winter, James was born with an incessant need to press buttons. Whether it was the car radio, doorbells on Halloween or lights, James pushed, pressed and prodded every button. No elevator was left unscathed, no building intercom was left un-rung, and no person he’s known has been left un-annoyed.

  1. connecting the Nyrius receiver to a home theater receiver rather than to the tv/projector directly should alleviate the lack of an audio out on the tv/projector and a llow you to output to a stereo surround system – correct?

  2. I have to say, awesome review: Finally, a reviewer who is qualified to review this type of equipment. Your two points about USB’s lack of power and Graphics processing, are right on the money; and explain everything, with the problems USB to HDMI (wireless) has had! However, completely missing from your review, is the wireless spec. What frequency, what technology/chip, and the 802.11 working group relationship. If there is no relationship, and is proprietary, that’s ok; but that requires more explanation (convinc’n), not less. Or in this case none.
