Marshall Headphones Stanmore Bluetooth Speaker Does Looks And (Hopefully) Sound Right

Like any best Bluetooth speakers, it’s very practical and quite useful, more often than not are anything but stylish.  Marshall Headphones, however, has taken a different approach with their Stanmore speaker.

Housed inside of the leather wrapped box is a 80-watt digital class D amplifier, custom made 40mm dynamic drivers, two 3/4 tweeters, and a 5 1/4″ woofer.  The result should be impeccable sound quality that blasts out your tunes with a frequency range of 45- 22.000HZ – one of the best portable speaker of its kind.

Controlling the Stanmore comes by way of a set of traditional Marshall Knobs.  And for those without bluetooth enabled devices, there is an included 3.5mm cable that is a modern take on the classic guitar cord.

The Stanmore is available now for $400. In addition to classic black, it comes wrapped in white.  For more gusto, check out their Hanwell speaker.

  1. This looks pretty large to be practical for use during travel. My assumption is that this was not the intention in the design. Is this to replace the home music system? For all around use I am going to stick with my Mighty Dwarf BlueII Bluetooth vibration speaker. This speaker pairs with my source device and allows me to PLAY the surface I place the speaker on. It turns the table, for example, INTO the speaker. Pretty cool, creative and fun. Great for travel as well. It is about the size of a baseball. Did you actually test the speaker or are you reviewing from other information?
