I’ve slept through my iPhone 4s’ alarm clock countless times. In fact, I did just that this morning. So if I was smart, I’d start by not only going to bed at a reasonable time, as well as abstaining from alcohol and crappy food over the weekend, but I’d get me one of these: the iBell Mini Wake Up Alarm.
Unfortunately, it’s not iPhone 5 compatible as it sports the now old-school Apple serial connector. Once it’s plugged into your iPhone 4 or 4s, you simply need to fire up the accompanying app and set your wake up time. Once your iPhone’s clock hits the selected time you can expect an old world charm wake up call thanks to the onboard analog bells and metal hammer that fires back and forth between them. And since your iPhone’s serial port will be clogged up, they’ve included a USB plug that should plug into the iBell Mini Wake Up Alarm’s USB port.
You can buy the iBell Mini Wake Up Alarm from Amazon for about $17.
