Consensus

our Verdict

The HP OfficeJet Pro 9025e is excellent for small businesses, with its dual paper trays and a total capacity of 500 pages. In addition to 300 dpi color faxing, the 9025e also has an automatic document feeder for copying, scanning, and printing. With printing speeds of up to 21.2 ppm in black and 12.95 ppm in color, this printer is fast, ranking above average in its category. Its low 0.9-cent-per-page printing puts it among the top 10% most affordable of our certified tested printers.

This printer produces true-to-life graphics and photos, boasting a great color accuracy dE ratio of just 6.33. Print quality is exceptional, reaching 4800 x 1200 dpi for color documents and 1200 x 1200 dpi in black. It is relatively portable compared to bigger multifunctional printers, but its scanner produces tilted, misaligned scans. The Canon PIXMA MG3620 review has a better scanner.

Both the HP OfficeJet Pro 9025e and the HP DeskJet 3755 are inkjet all-in-one printers. From a productivity standpoint, the 9025e is the better option, boasting single-pass duplex scanning and printing, much lower printing costs, and faster printing speeds. The DeskJet has a more tedious sheetfed scanner and doesn’t support automatic duplex printing. Check out our HP DeskJet 3755 review for details about the smaller printer.

While both the HP OfficeJet Pro 9025e and the Canon imageCLASS MF753Cdw are color all-in-one printers, the OfficeJet Pro produces better-looking documents and photos thanks to an inkjet printing system, and its printing costs are slightly lower. However, although both have ADF scanners, the Canon printer produces better scans than the HP model. Explore the Canon printer in our Canon imageCLASS MF753Cdw review.

Being an all-in-one printer with a scanner and copier, the HP OfficeJet Pro 9025e is better for wide-ranging use than the print-only Pantum P2502W, which prints in monochrome only. Its bigger paper trays make it more suited to bulk jobs than the Pantum printer. Our Pantum P2502W review gives insight into the monochrome model.
