How so you ask? Sans Digital has crafted a drive that holds two compact flash cards that act as one solid state hard drive. The CompactRAID CR2T is compatible with all ‘hard drive slot of laptops, industrial PCs (IPC), small form factor computers, and 2.5” hard drive enclosures.’ It measures 2.8-inches thick and 3.9-inch long, so it’s not exactly pocket sized or an internal SSD, but it’s a hell of a lot cheaper at $99 and allows virtually limitless hard drive space using 32GB Compact Flash cards.
To bad it doesn’t have a USB 2 or Firewire out on it.
Available here for $99
