Not more than a few years ago, perhaps even less, there were only a few iPhone wallet cases. Fast forward to today and we’re inundated with them. Which leaves the question of what’s next?
Well, as you’ve probably surmised, I’m about to tell you. It’s called Jacked. I can’t say it’s the end all be all answer to carrying money on your person, but it’s an interesting concept and one that deserves some attention. Unlike other iPhone wallets, which generally come in the form of a case, the Jacked is no more than a money clip that attaches to your iPhone by way of the headphone jack. And according to its maker, Jacked won’t mute your iPhone when it is plugged in.
That all said, you won’t be able to use a pair of headphones while Jacked is installed, but perhaps with the second iteration they’ll build in a pass-through port. That is assuming they reach their initial funding goal of $10,000 on Kickstarter (it’s currently at $28, so suffice to say they need your help).
For those without an iPhone, they’ve created a version that sticks to the back of your handset, though it’s far less attractive, and if you ask me only takes away from the pizazz of Jacked. Fortunately, just a $10 pledge will score you one of these, while $19 will get you a Jacked.
