It may not be evident to you, but Siri has apparently been giving away the goods every time you check your email or surf the web. Bandai, the Japanese video game maker, has developed underpants for the iPhone that cover up that sweet spot we all call the home button. Why do I feel so dirty now?
Smart Pants fit snugly over the lower portion of your iPhone and will be available late March for around $2 each, but as of now online retailers taking orders for the product are completely sold out.
The company offers the odd accessory in a variety of styles from modest boxer briefs to hot pink thongs.
Smart Pants are constructed of silicone and, according to the website, can stretch to fit a variety of other smart devices.
No news yet on any other iPhone apparel, but give it time. I’m sure we can expect this product to inspire other entrepreneurs that might fancy iPhone pajamas or hats.
Twitter has been on fire with Smart Pants since the product announcement. Looks like Bandai may have struck gold.
So what’s your take? Yea or nay? Will Smart Pants be a hit? Could it be the next sillybandz, or is this product too suggestive for the younger US market?
