AT&T Can Unlock Your Phone
AT&T has stated in a blog post that they can unlock your phone…BUT, you have to have fulfilled the terms of your contract AND they have to have the unlock gold. Basically, this translates to many that you can get a phone from another carrier once your contract is up and they’ll unlock it for you. If you’re in a contract, you have to finish it or get out of it. AT&T also mentioned that their unlocking position is on terms with the White House’s statement on unlocking phones.
