If you own an iPhone then you know that there is never a time when you don’t need that pesky Apple cable. Needless to say, especially with iCloud in play, it’s just a question of grabbing a quick charge, and for that there is the key chain friendly JuiceBuddy. However, as small and lightweight as that option is, relatively speaking, it’s still on the larger side, especially for your skinny jean wearing hipsters.
Enter the ChargeCard. No, it doesn’t hold a charge – if it did it would perhaps provide at best a quick phone call probably in the neighborhood of 1 minute, if that. Instead, the ChargeCard, which measures .1-inches thick with a footprint comparable to that of a credit card, slips into your wallet or pocket and serves as a replacement to an iPhone cable – the fold out USB arm is made from flexible thermoplastic so it can bend if need be. And since there is no cable to get tangled, you can toss it into a bag or purse and not wrestle with a rats nest when it’s time to grab some juice. The only downside? You’ll need to find a USB plug, which we’re surprised still aren’t standard installs in new homes and businesses.
The ChargeCard is a Kickstarter project. They’re currently asking $20.
