Steve Jobs’ official, yes official, biography will hit retail shelves in early 2012.  It will be called iSteve: The Book of Jobs and will be published by Simon & Schuster.  What serparates this biography from past bioptic pieces is that Steve Jobs has agreed with its author, Walter Isaacson, to exclusive interviews, access to friends and family as well as a tour of his childhood home.  The book will also include thoughts and reactions from hit competitors.

Walter Isaacson is no stranger to biographies and boasts credits to Kissinger: A Biography (1992), Benjamin Franklin: An American Life (2003) and Einstein: His Life and Universe (2007) amongst others.
