Incase PowerSlider: Protect & Power The iPhone

November 17th, 2008 4:16 PM | by Christen da Costa | 4 Comments

Incase launched the Power Slider for the iPhone 3G today.  What is it?  A case that both protects the iPhone and more than doubles (220%) the phone’s battery life.  Thank to Incase’s innovative design there’s no need to remove the Power Slider when syncing and the 5 LED light battery indicator (similar to Apple’s laptops) will keep you abreast of battery life remaining.

The Power Slider will launch November 28th in Black only, and cost $100.

Not sure about this. The bottom seems to cover the speakers. If so it will eliminate your speaker phone capabilities and plug up your ringer. Nice concept, but it appears the speakers were overlooked.

One more thing, what case could one use after you attach this thing? It adds length to the phone and thickness as well. I not sure if there is anything out there case wise that can handle the thickness and the length with the powerslider attached to my iphone.

I guess this is one of those things where the old saying come into play,

“You can’t have your cake and eat it too”

    dude,
are you seriously going to multiple reviews and posting the same lame comment? like another said on the “other” page, the bottom has speaker holes, the case is exactly that……a case……

Has no one ever thought about that expression? Why in the f*ck would you not eat cake that you have? You already have it, why not eat it? Dumba*s.
