Apple Gets Hit With More MobileMe Problems

I’m really disappointed in Apple’s iPhone 2.0 firmware update.  My iPhone’s reception is all wacked (it requires me to restart the phone periodically) and the UI is all laggy.  To add insult to injury, Apple has screwed up the launch of MobileMe.  In addition to email problems with MobileMe - a good chunk of customers lost access and lost email during a period of time - they’ve now got sync problems.  Forum users are reporting that their contacts have all together disappeared and then suddenly reappeared days later.  The MobileMe service seems spotty at best and doesn’t even do justice to Google’s term ‘beta’.  I mean come on!  Apple could’ve, should’ve, offered this free to beta testers and worked the problems out.  I know Mediatemple is working on a suite of tools that’ll offer a comparable service, and is hosted and ran by them.

MobileMe is beginning to sound more like MobileWho?
