Apple iPod Hi-Fi

Apple’s latest product announced at the Apple Media Event is the iPod Hi-Fi. The iPod Hi-Fi is a boombox with built-in iPod dock designed to be your home stereo, redesigned.

The iPod Hi-Fi features:

  • two 80 mm mid-range drivers
  • a 130 mm dual voice coil woofer, ported bass reflex design
  • an integrated power supply
  • can be powered by six D batteries
  • control via the Apple Remote
  • software update for the iPod with a new speaker menu option
  • works with any iPod ever made

The iPod Hi-Fi will go on sale for $349 today.
