If the lack of an external speaker on your iPod is just too hard to bear, then you need to get your mitts around the Bang and Olufsen BeoSound3. Its basically portable SD card MP3 player with a built in speaker. Its styling reeks of PowerMac G5 brushed aluminum. The BeoSound3 is designed to compliment the BeoSound4 where you can rip your music, and is to be considered the alternative MP3 player to the BeoSound2, which is for personal use. The device also sports an alarm clock to wake you from 1000 thread count sheets, and warmly welcome you to your fresh squeezed, and no doubt hand delivered orange juice. It’s hard to see from the pics, but looks like there’s an LCD time display hidden beneath it cold, metal exterior. Comes with a wall bracket to hang it up. Supposedly will run you $850, and give you a 10 hours of musical bliss.
