Denon is a major supporter of Apple wireless speaker technology, aptly called AirPlay. They sunk further allegiance into the mix by announcing the RCD-N7 system. You’ll need to purchase speakers separately, which if that isn’t a deterrent enough, surely the $600 price tag for just the core system will be.
Nonetheless, in addition to an iPod/iPhone dock, USB input, FM radio, WiFi, DLNA this little sucker includes Apple’s AirPlay tech for streaming music to any compatible wireless speaker system. Course, to get that you’ll have to pay for a $49 update, which just has us full of angry hot AIR.
On a more positive note it is compatible with Denon’s Remote app, though you’ll clearly need two iPhones or an iPod Touch/iPhone mix to make that work, assuming you’re drawing your tunes from the player while docked.
Grew up back East, got sick of the cold and headed West. Since I was small I have been pushing buttons - both electronic and human. With an insatiable need for tech I thought "why not start a blog focusing on technology, and use my dislikes and likes to post on gadgets."
