Shure E2C Headphone Review

Grew up back East, got sick of the cold and headed West. Since I was small I have been pushing buttons - both electronic and human. With an insatiable need for tech I thought "why not start a blog focusing on technology, and use my dislikes and likes to post on gadgets."

  1. Being a big music buff, I wanted to buy a good noise canceling earphones for my Ipod. Wanted to pick up Shure’s SCL2. However while trying to get information on the SCL2, I happened to find out that it was a re-named E2C. Finding the SCL2 was tough and so I settled for a E2C during my visit to the US. I used it for about 2 months without any major issues and then i started noticing the some songs were distorting even at low volumes. Having paid $100 bucks and being a big fan of Shure products (use the SM58 series mikes), I was extremely disappointed. And since I picked up the ear phones during my visit to the US, I am now left with no alternatives. I am hoping that it was a defective product and hopefully the Shure Customer Care would replace it since it is within the 2 year warrantee period.
