HP Announces Pavilion 14 Chromebook with 14 inch Display

Google continues to blanket the mobile computing sector in a shimmering “Chrome”. It’s true and more end partners seem to welcome their new OS. HP is the latest to offer up a device for the Chrome treatment. They have recently announced the HP Pavilion 14 Chromebook. Forever striving to be different, HP is not taking the cookie-cutter route in their Chromebook design.

The Pavilion Chromebook falls in line with HP’s continued to commitment to be OS agnostic. The company has stated it is taking a more “multiOS” approach to computing by offering many different devices across Windows 8, Chrome and Android (tablets). The new HP Pavilion 14 Chromebook enjoys a larger display size than previous chromebooks; it is a full 2-inches wider (diagonally).  The 14-inch screen is your window into all those instant access features that Chrome is known for. Like I’ve said before, “if you know how to use Gmail, then you already know how to use the Chrome OS.” Easily hop into your basic Google search, Gmail, YouTube, Google Drive (100GB free storage), Google Docs, Google Chat, Google+ Hangouts and more.

The Pavilion 14 Chromebook is powered by an Intel Celeron processor with on-chip Intel HD graphics, 16GB solid state storage space, 4GB of system memory, unauthorized access security with Trusted Platform Module protection, HDMI-out, USB 2.0 ports, Ethernet jack, a headphone jack for headphones and another for a mic.

Stated as one of the best chromebook, the new Chromebook from HP also features a HP TrueVision HD Webcam, removable battery and weighs in just under 4 lbs. New and old users have quick access to the company’s wealth of apps on the Chrome Web Store and 100gb of free storage space for a couple of years starting from the point said offer is redeemed on participating Google Chrome devices.
