This guy, Peter Green, took a Mac Mini and modded it out with a mini keyboard, track pad, battery (3 hour life), and an 8 fold away screen all of which apparently weighs less then the current 14 iBook. He’s currently looking for someone to donate an Intel Mac Mini so he can add a touch screen and numerous other features.

mini laptoops are cool
how about games?
Man, thats really cool dude. You are a geek in the hardware tech.
What do you mean by “donate”?
If I give you an Intel Mac Mini will you give me the final product?
.T.
p.s. This is EXACTLY what i was trying to do except i lack hardware skills and knowledge to actually build it.
I think this is very marketable. Especailly if the Mac Mini acan be removed easily so that you can hook it up to bigger screen and keyboard for desktop use.
Can you still hook it up to a bigger screen and keyboard/mouse?
veery nice.
would be better if you could take the mac in and out of it, almost like a docking station, so you can, when you need to, attach it to a desktop screen etc.
wow this is so cool! i cant wait until these come out for sale! but i think you should wait until the touch screen is added. great idea!
It looks buky
Common guys,
there are many mini laptops out there, some with a docking station. Besides, Sony already has one touch screen computer, and its size is just like asus mini notebook. I think Apple co. will be very surprised to see someone can turn their product into an ugly, stupid junk.
