  1. Holy crap, Batman – over 2 months of running?! I have a corrupted 160GB drive, which I need to recover so I bought Data Rescue 3, yesterday. The program recommended cloning it first and then recovering from the clone. I expect this will over come the bad reads in step one and then allow faster data re-assembly. We will have to see as I am only into 6hrs of the job. When I ran this initially it slowed down my MBP, but luckily I have a spare Mac Mini on stand by, so I moved the recovery task to that. Fingers crossed :)
