I’ve long held the opinion that at home scales serve little to no purpose. After all, most people don’t use them to track their weight loss but just see if they’ve lost weight. However, Withings Connected Scale does all that and more.

Not only does it feature an easy to read digital display, but stuffed inside is WiFi that automatically connects with the Internet to track and store your measurements. And because measuring the good old LBs isn’t accurate enough – muscles weighs more than fat – the scale can also zap you with a low intensity current to measure your body to fat ratio.

The Withings scale is available now for about $184, and if you so choose you can download their compatible iPhone app that lets you review your history any where you go.
