Panasonic’s ToughBook series is, well, tough, built to withstand the most extreme conditions out there. The newly updated ToughBook 19 is no exception, featuring a 10.4-inch LED touchscreen display and adding a 1.2GHz Intel Core i5 CPU. Other specs include 2GB DDR3 RAM (upgradable to 8GB), a 160GB shock-mounted quick release HDD (or an 128 SSD), WiFi, optional Wimax/Gobi mobile broadband, optional GPS, optional fingerprint reader, Bluetooth, all with nine hours of battery life. It makes me want to go out in the middle of a desert with one of these things…maybe tomorrow.

Pricing and availability for the ToughBook 19 are currently unknown.
