Sony’s Quantum Of Solace 007 Vaio Laptop Makes Its Debut

October 1st, 2008 9:13 PM | by Christen da Costa

I’ve been searching left and right for Sony’s Quantum of Solace gear. Finally, the laptop, which is appropriated labeled with a ‘007′, showed up today. Wittingly, production is limited to 700 and its specs, which mimic the Z series, include an Intel Core 2 Duo processor, 128GB SDD or 320GB hard drive, 3G Internet connectivity, 4GB of DDR2 RAM, 13.3-inch LED backlit LCD, fingerprint reader (of course), Motion Eye cameras and Blu-ray drive.

Expect the price to be at the top end, around $4,000, and ships end of this month.

Update: Its chassis will be crafted of Carbon Fiber.  Hit T3 for some video.
